Seaside picnics and barbecues on the foreshores, fun activities and games in parks, incredible fireworks display and a massive crowd will again make up the festivities during the Australian Day Celebrations in The Entrance.
Celebrate everything Aussie in The Entrance with your mates and the whole family fun-filled and action-packed day full along with excellent entertainment and exciting activities at The Entrance Memorial Park to be held on 26 January.
Expect to see fantastic entertainment on both stages and catch brilliant performances and music by live bands and a whole lot more.
Members of the NSW Corps of Marines will again bring Australian history to life which will surely delight the crowd. There will also be sheep shearing display, where your little tots can pat the sheep and watch the shearers at work. The fun and much-awaited ice cream eating competition, will also leave you salivating for some delicious ice cream. You can also watch momentous ceremonies such as the firing of the original 1820 Carronade Canon.
The crowd can also enjoy Corporal Punishment, Pistol Duals, Wood Chopping Championships, baby animals on display and heaps more. A wide variety of stalls will also be featured throughout the celebration.
One of the main highlights of the Australia Day Celebrations will be the Sea FM Fireworks Spectacular, which you can catch on 9pm on The Entrance Waterfront to wrap up the night with a blast.
