Celebrating the iconic nature of the surf, beach and art culture and the vibrant community of the Central Coast, the Central Coast Beach Fest is again bringing a wet and wicked weekend this February.
Be at the Avoca Beach on 7 to 8 February and enjoy loads of fun and great entertainment happening throughout this two-day festival. Whether you’re a surfer, body boarder or swimmer, or even a runner, this amazing event offers something for everyone.
Enjoy exciting and action-packed competitions happening throughout the Central Coast Beach Fest including surfing, body boarding, ocean swim and a fun run.
The Beach Fest Surfing competitions welcome everyone of all ages and abilities. The surfing events are divided into different categories such as the Under 14’s, Under 16’s, Under 18’s, Opens, Senior Men’s, Masters, and Women’s.
For the Beach Fest Bodyboard, the categories also include Under 14’s, Under 16’s, Under 18’s, Opens, Senior Men’s, Drop Knee and Women’s.
The Ocean Swim event, to be held on 8 February, features the 500m and the 2km races.
For more fun and excitement, the Beach Fest Fun Run will be held from midday over both 2km and 4km distances on 8 February. The course will extend along Avoca and North Avoca Beach with the start/finish line at the Tower. This is a great challenge and a great way to spend quality time with the whole family.
Aside from the beach action, everyone here can also look forward to exciting activities on the sand and remarkable entertainment throughout the festival. There will be live musical performances from talented local artists and great music playing all along the festival. You can also join the Ice Cream Eating races and the Sand Sculpting contest where you can join exciting prizes.
